Conclusion
To be honest and critical with the SanDisk Ultra, this particular SD card from SanDisk is a major disappointment. The money asked by the card is all about the storage space that the Ultra offers. Other than that, the specifications of the card are nothing at all that can be termed suitable for any sort of purpose. The only consolation that it carries is that it is based and built on the UHS-1 architecture in terms of its bus connections which somehow manages to allow the Ultra to reach read speeds as high as 60MBps in contrast to its marked speed (80MBps).
Lack of a UHS speed and video class means that even thinking of using the Ultra for professional and high-end stuff is just nonsense. The best that it can be used for is very basic storage purposes such as music, videos, pictures, etc. Build and construction-wise, SanDisk manages to maintain its standard and keep the Ultra magnet, x-ray, temperature, and waterproof; which can be considered a plus for it considering there are not many but in totality, SanDisk spilled the beans with its 128GB version of the Ultra series of SD’s. Otherwise, the Ultra is just a cheap option for an SD card in a 128GB variant.
